Operafestival di Roma

This is a unique opportunity for those of you who are interested in seriously persuing a career as a professional vocalist of vocal teacher.

The Operafestival di Roma is a non profit organization that offers students, faculty and professionals the opportunity to study and perform opera in Italy. It takes place during the month of July. This year they are performing Die Fledermaus by Strauss and Suor Angelica by Puccini, as well as various scenes programs, recitals and concerts.

This is an excellent opportunity and looks wonderful on college applications. There is a Parents and Friends programs that gives your parents an affordable place to stay as well as Italian lessons if they are not comfortable sending you alone.

This is an audition based program. You will be asked to perform two arias or art songs in Italian, German or French. The Audition Fee is $50.00.
Auditions can be scheduled live or sent in on DVD.
